Version 12.0 of the UNICEDE/fx format, intended for use with CLASIC/2 Version 11.0.0 and CATStation Version 12.0.0, includes the following changes:
- Ten new secondary modifiers (Fields 40-49) have been added to the Location Detail Record (74) to support updates to the AIR Earthquake Model for the U.S. Several existing secondary modifiers (IrRetroFit, IrFoundation and IrIntPartition) have also been updated to support these changes. Additionally, IrProximity has been renamed IrPounding.
- The Seal of Approval secondary modifier (Field 4) on the Location Detail Record (74) has been enabled for use with the AIR Hurricane Model for the U.S.
- U.S. Hurricane model support for industrial facility exposures, including occupancy codes 400-482, the IrBldFndConn secondary modifier (Field 34) on the Location Detail Record to capture the anchorage of equipment at such facilities, and components and subcomponents
- Support for changes to AIR’s Extratropical Cyclone Model for Europe, including new scheme paths, geographic resolutions, construction and occupancy code support, and a Forestry occupancy code (375) for Sweden and Norway.
- Three new deductible types have been introduced on the Layer and Sublimit Records (Record Types 61 and 62). The MI2, MA2 and MM2 have been introduced as alternatives to the existing Minimum (MI), Maximum (MA) and Minimum and Maximum (MM) deductibles. While deductible types MM, MI and MA deductible types compare location deductibles (for the risks affected by a given event) to the layer deductible using the mean ground-up losses to determine the deductible amount, deductible types MM2, MI2 and MA2 compare location deductibles (for the risks affected by a given event) to the layer deductible using the full ground-up distribution.
- Other updates and clarification to the documentation
