About UNICEDE®/2
UNICEDE®/2 allows primary insurers and their treaty reinsurers to
exchange aggregate sums insured, risk count and premium data in a format that can
be easily imported into CATRADER®. The standard
supports country-specific lines of business and geographic detail.
Some useful resources for creating UNICEDE®/1 and UNICEDE®/2
files are available below. The Documentation links contain the file structure protocol
to use for each file type. The UNICEDE/2 Underwriter’s Workbook is a downloadable
Microsoft® Excel workbook that automates the process of creating
UNICEDE/2 files for countries included in AIR’s European extratropical cyclone
model.
